Mallorca – Balearic Islands, Spain

About the Island

The Balearic Islands are an archipelago off eastern Spain, in the Mediterranean. Mallorca (Majorca), the largest island, is known for its beaches, scenic coastline and the Serra de Tramuntana mountains to the north. Palma, the capital city, is known for its Gothic cathedral with an altar canopy by modern architect Antoni Gaudí, and Almudaina, a Moorish royal palace.

Explore Mallorca’s rich cultural history by visiting its numerous museums, or take a food tour of its restaurants to sample local food and wine. Of course, the best way to experience your vacation is to simply relax and appreciate the lush beauty that surrounds you.

What we love

We love Mallorca for it’s breathtaking scenery and beautiful beaches – especially along the mountainous north-west coast – where you can discovery numerous small bays and costal towns. Marriott’s Club Son Antem, is a luxurious retreat off the south-east coast of Spain, surrounded by rugged mountain cliffs, sheltered coves and the sparkling beauty of the Mediterranean Sea. We love to split our time between chilling out in the resort and exploring the island.
